Help design, build and support cool edgy stuff that enables NZDF to detect and respond to sophisticated cyber adversaries! Our people need to be able to detect and respond to APTs. If you know what APTs are, relish the challenge and are outstanding in your job, then consider joining us.

Our Defence Cyber Security Centre (DCSC) defends and protects the Defence Information Environment against cyber security threats.

As the Cyber Security Engineering Team Lead you will play a critical role in equipping incident monitoring and response teams, as well as vulnerability testing and penetration teams, with the tools and solutions needed to operate in a time critical environment.

  • act as a Subject Matter Expert for the wider NZDF to influence security design across the organisation; and
  • manage staff through ongoing constructive feedback, mentoring and coaching and ensure your team has the training and resources to perform affectively.

It's an exciting time to join the Cyber Security Operations Centre at NZDF as we invest and grow in this emerging field and this is a chance to play a part in building, supporting and maintaining CSOC toolsets and solutions that will enable the rapid detection and response to Cyber Security Incidents.
