Candidate Engagement Facilitators are a critical part of the team working closely with military recruiters to support candidates through the Army, Navy or Airforce selection process.
What are the main responsibilities of this role?
- Provide effective communications and regular feedback to the candidates throughout the recruitment/selection process;
- Transition/support candidates through the recruitment process from application to on boarding;
- Arrange and monitor candidate assessments and pre-selection activities; and
- Maintain up to date candidate records within the PCMS Candidate Management System.
This is a fantastic opportunity to upskill and gain valuable experience within recruitment.

Along with experience in administrative and customer support roles, you'll be able to:
- Provide an exceptional level of customer service;
- Communicate confidently and effectively at all times;
- Work independently and pro-actively manage your time, while remaining part of the team;
- Provide flexibility and adaptability to changing needs and priorities;
- Take a common sense, solutions based approach to any problems that arise; and
- Bring some knowledge and experience in the salesforce/ PCMS candidate management system.
You'll be someone who excels in a busy, high volume environment and works well under pressure, along with bringing a positive ‘can do' attitude to our friendly and collaborative team.

Please note: Applicants must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand (NZ) and be able to obtain and maintain the required level of NZ Government security clearance for the position applied for. The minimum citizenship and residency criteria for security clearances to be granted by the NZ Defence Force are as follows:
Low level Security Clearance
- most preferably a NZ citizen, who has resided in this country continuously for at least the last five years, OR
- is a citizen of, and/or has resided continuously in one or more of the following countries for the last five years: either Australia, Canada, NZ, the United Kingdom (UK) or the United States of America (USA); and has a background history that is verifiable and can be assessed as appropriate by the NZ Security Intelligence Service (NZSIS) towards a recommendation of suitability for a security clearance at this level.
If you do not meet these minimum criteria, we will not be able to accept your application.
