You will oversee day-to-day Dental Centre operations to ensure oral health services within the Dental Centre(s) operate effectively, efficiently and safely for clinicians and patients.
This includes:
- Management of people, resources and finances;
- Compliance requirements; and
- Implementing quality improvement initiatives using sound project and change management practices.
The role is part of the Oral Health Management team, and is expected work closely with the Clinical Lead to ensure good patient outcomes and that the Dental Centre is performing to a high standard.

To be successful in this role, you'll have considerable knowledge of clinical practice and a firm understanding of the operational ‘day to day' requirements of managing in health delivery setting, critical thinking abilities and experience applying human resources principles.

- A confident communicator, networker and influencer who proactively engages with internal and external stakeholders, builds effective working relationships with a wide range of people and is comfortable navigating your way around a large, complex organisation.

The minimum citizenship and residency criteria for security clearances to be granted by the NZ Defence Force are as follows:
Low level Security Clearance
- most preferably a NZ citizen, who has resided in this country continuously for at least the last five years, OR
- is a citizen of, and/or has resided continuously in one or more of the following countries for the last five years: either Australia, Canada, NZ, the United Kingdom (UK) or the United States of America (USA); and has a background history that is verifiable and can be assessed as appropriate by the NZ Security Intelligence Service (NZSIS) towards a recommendation of suitability for a security clearance at this level.
If you do not meet these minimum criteria, we will not be able to accept your application.
