As the Advisor Business and Workforce Management, you will play a key role in supporting the effective administration and management of Defence Logistics Command's workforce, establishment, and business processes. You will provide specialist advice, coordinate workforce and establishment management activities, support financial administration and reporting requirements, and contribute to the continuous improvement of organisational systems, processes, and governance practices.
- Coordinate workforce administration, establishment management, financial reporting, compliance activities, and business improvement initiatives to support organisational effectiveness and strategic objectives.
- Analyse workforce and financial information to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide advice and recommendations to inform planning, reporting, and resource management decisions.
The salary for this role starts from $90,158 with a midpoint of $99,501, inclusive of a 4% superannuation contribution. Appointments within this range are based on skills and experience.

We are looking for a proactive and analytical professional with experience in workforce, financial, or business management within a complex organisation. You will have strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to translate data and insights into practical recommendations that support organisational success.
- Experience in workforce management, financial management, business planning, or organisational performance.
- Sound understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Microsoft Excel skills, including modelling and impact analysis.
- Experience analysing and interpreting workforce data.
- Experience developing executive-level reports, briefing papers, and recommendations.
- Strong understanding of policy, process, and compliance management.
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.

Higher Level Security Clearance
- You must be a New Zealand citizen or you must hold New Zealand Permanent Residence or have a current New Zealand Residency Class Visa.
- At minimum, you must hold New Zealand Permanent Residence or have a current New Zealand Residency Class Visa, and you must be a citizen of and have lived in Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, United States of America or New Zealand continuously for the last ten (10) years.
- You must have a ten (10) year background history that can be verified and assessed appropriately by the NZ Security Intelligence Service (NZSIS) to determine if you are suitable for a security clearance at this level.
