Job Description

Do you have a good knowledge of Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) and experience in the development of technical documentation?
The Technical Writer – Mobility Systems is responsible for creating and maintaining NZ Repair Parts Schedule (NZRPS) and associated documentation for all General Service Vehicles and other operational equipment.  The Technical Writer – Mobility Systems is responsible for the whole life management of Class 9 (repair parts) Spares data.  This includes research, codification, creation and deletion of master data in SAP. 
If you have the ability to produce,  interpret technical drawings, electrical circuit/wiring diagrams and have a strong attention to detail, along with proven technical/product research skills, this could be the role for you.
Our ideal candidate is a team player with the ability to conduct technical research, strong analytical skills, an understanding of risk management, has proven information management skills and an excellent understanding of directory structures.
Critical to your success in this role will be your vehicle mechanic/automotive technician background, experience in  database management and  the ability to create  graphic illustrations using graphic software (CorelDraw X7).
Your willingness to learn, ability to work independently, strong skills in MS Office and SAP, along with well developed written and verbal communication skills are crucial to your success in this role. 
The remuneration band for this position is $50,925 to $62,908, inclusive of a 4% employer superannuation contribution.
