Job Description

What you will do

As the Senior Requirements Lead, you will be responsible for the development, delivery, maintenance and overall management of system and user requirements products, requirements input into the Project Documentation and the provision of advice to a variety of stakeholders, to schedule, cost and scope.  You will be a part of a central pool of resources that will be assigned to one or more Integrated Project Teams based on organisational priorities.

You will also be:

  • Supporting a number of projects to meet organisational demands;
  • Aligning requirements across the capability;
  • Documenting justification, prioritisation and ownership;
  • Defining, monitoring and managing risks.

What we need

As the Senior Requirements Lead, you will ideally have spent time in a Senior Management role where your technical or engineering background and industry experience has been applied. 

To hit the ground running you will demonstrate:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build and maintain trusting relationships with key stakeholders;
  • A demonstrated understanding of project management methodologies;
  • Proven experience with user and technical requirement management and analysis;
  • A working knowledge of IBM Rational DOORS® programme is desirable.

Higher level Security Clearance

  • most preferably a NZ citizen who has resided continuously in this country for the last 10 years, OR
  • is a citizen of, and/or has resided continuously in one or more of the following countries for the last 10 years: either Australia, Canada, NZ, UK or the USA; and has a background history that is verifiable and can be assessed as appropriate by the NZSIS towards a recommendation of suitability for a security clearance at a higher level.

If you do not meet these minimum criteria, we will not be able to accept your application.
