Along with providing efficient support over the phone or in person to our internal customers you will be primarily managing the accounts for the Officers Mess but will be required to manage the accounts for other clubs and messes from time to time. You will also be required to support the management, control and maintenance, issue and receipt of NPF hire pool equipment, holiday homes and welfare houses, supporting the manager and wider team with a range of tasks over busy periods.

Please note: This is a part-time fixed term position for 12 months, 20 hours per week.

What we need

Along with cash handling and accounts management experience you are someone who enjoys being in a role where you have responsibility for managing finances. Ideally you will also have an understanding of accounting principles and balancing the books.  Strong organisational skills, the ability to work independently and pro-actively manage your workload along with the ability to complete work efficiently with a high degree of accuracy each time will be a strength of yours.

You'll have a knack for providing exceptional customer service to all internal and external stakeholders, as well as building professional working relationships and networks.  Being a strong team player who works collaboratively, you will be able to communicate confidently across all levels of the business.
