An exciting opportunity has come up here at Counties Manukau Health; we are looking for a Registered Plumber to be based at Middlemore Hospital, a modern tertiary teaching hospital with a large multi-building campus
This busy role will see you focussing on maintenance work across a variety of small, medium and large installations and different types of systems. Working alongside a professional engineering management team you will receive regular technical support as well as mentoring.
This position is responsible for undertaking plumbing, waste water, roofing and related functions for Counties Manukau Health sites. This includes maintenance, repair and minor new works. This is a full-time permanent role Monday-Friday.
The ideal candidate will need:
- NZ Registered Plumber
- Current full driver's licence
- Good understanding of general building services
- NZ building practices and knowledge of legislation relating to plumbing and health and safety legislation and regulations
Desired but not mandatory:
- 3 years post training experience
