Domain Principal - International Intelligence - International Revenue Strategy
We are seeking a Domain Principal to join International Revenue Strategy to lead our work in the field of automatic exchange of information and the ongoing compliance with the Common Reporting Standard and the Crypto Asset Reporting Framework.
Ara Whiwhi Mahi - The opportunity
As a Domain Principal, you will play a pivotal leadership role in ensuring that New Zealand meets its obligations and ongoing compliance with key automatic exchange or information regimes such as the Common Reporting Standard (CRS) and the Crypto Asset Reporting Framework (CARF).
Working with the Domain Lead - International Intelligence, this role will be responsible for the following:
- Proving support to the Service Leader and Strategic Advisor, (International) in relation to the peer reviews of New Zealand for the various international exchange of information standards
- Contributing to our responses to international peer reviews and monitoring of our international obligations with these regimes
- Providing expert guidance and ensuring the compliance of domestic customers with their due diligence and reporting obligations
- Working with a team of Intelligence and Insight specialists to drive improved compliance outcomes and enhance our AEOI capabilities
- Championing international tax transparency initiatives
- Providing guidance and mentorship to the Intelligence and Insight specialists working with treaty data
