Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated person to join our busy Facilities Management team.

About the role

Reporting to the Strategic Assets Manager, you'll be responsible for leading and delivering a variety of asset management / supply chain services and functions.

With your procurement, disposal , and asset management background experience and a commitment to outstanding customer service then this could be the role for you. To be successful in this role you will have experience with:

Supply Chain

  • Planning and management of ordering and purchasing assets to meet customers end needs

Coordination and collaboration with channel partners

  • Inventory management and disposal

Asset Management Acumen

  • Prepare, compile, sort, and verify reliable and accurate information for data entry to the Asset Management System
  • Periodically perform surveys to ensure the ongoing accuracy of the Asset data
  • Maintain and manage all Asset data in readiness for budgeting and periodical reporting
  • Prepare life cycle and budget models using the asset management system to predict maintenance needs and budget requirements
  • Apply continuous improvement principles to Wintecs Asset Management Policy and Procedures so that investment decisions are informed and prioritised well and align with government's long-term goals; that the investment portfolio is delivering high public value; and that investment decision making and asset management across the organisation is robust, transparent, effective and efficient
  • Comply with data integrity and security policies

Communication and Technology

  • Have highly developed communication and computer skills, including familiarity with Asset Management Systems, Excel, SharePoint, and other similar products
  • Prepare and/or coordinate various communications, budgets, forecasts, reports, presentations, briefings, and other papers as requested

Your proven experience in a busy team environment and a high level of initiative, flexibility and drive are essential. It would be beneficial if you have knowledge of the tertiary environment with a qualification in facilities management, accounting, construction or engineering.
