The School of Veterinary Science is seeking a Procurement and Inventory Supervisor to provide leadership and support to the purchasing and inventory team within the School. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will oversee inventory control and procurement and provide line management for the inventory team. As the go-to person for inventory matters, you will also complete purchase orders, manage inwards goods, send and receive national and international courier items, and liaise with external suppliers as necessary to provide an efficient purchasing service.

As a successful candidate, you will have at least two years' experience in a supervisory role, and be familiar with online purchasing systems, ideally within a scientific or University setting. You will thrive on coordinating multiple requests, providing customer service excellence and management reporting. You will have a positive attitude, combined with the willingness to work with multiple staff groups and services. A working knowledge of a veterinary hospital with mixed practice demands would be an advantage.
