An exciting and unique opportunity has opened up at Defence Logistics Command, RNZAF Ohakea for an experienced aircraft technician.
You must have specific knowledge and experience regarding the technical requirement for repairs including forecasting and scheduling.  The CCP(Tech) is responsible for working with the CCP(Sup) to complete the workscope for all external repairs, detailing what is required from the repair facility, as well as reviewing the paperwork on return from repair for completeness and conformity. The CCP(Tech) also provides technical advice on a range of issues and works as a prime intermediary between the supply chain and the Technical Support Cell, the technical workshops/Bays and the Squadron.  The CCP (Tech) primarily suports the NH90 Supply chain team, however you may also be required to support the A109 fleet team as and when required.

Ideally we would like someone with approximately five years aeronautical maintenance experience, preferably on rotary wing aircraft.  A qualification in aircraft maintenance engineering or Avionics Technician or equivalent.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also a requirement.

The total remuneration band for this position is $55,869 to $69,014, inclusive of a 4% employer superannuation contribution.

  • is a citizen of, and/or has resided continuously in one or more of the following countries for the last five years: either Australia, Canada, NZ, the United Kingdom (UK) or the United States of America (USA); and has a background history that is verifiable and can be assessed as appropriate by the NZ Security Intelligence Service (NZSIS) towards a recommendation of suitability for a security clearance at this level.

If you do not meet these minimum criteria, we will not be able to accept your application.
