Are you an experienced instructor with a background in Supply Chain Management or previous service as a Supply Technician looking for an exceptional job opportunity?
 
Trade Training School are looking for an Instructor Supply with relevant experience to join our dedicated team, who are based at Trentham Military Camp.

The Instructor Supply will teach a set of skills through instructional techniques, enhancing these skills with practice to ensure that NZDF personnel have attained the necessary levels of competence needed in the performance of their roles. You will prepare and deliver lessons determining the most appropriate method of instruction and mode of presentation for your audience.
 
You will have excellent public speaking and presentation skills and be confident in presenting to groups of students.  Your ability to articulate lesson material so that it is easily absorbed and your good working knowledge of training and education theory,
 
instructional design practices and educational evaluation will be vital to your success in this role. Preferably you will also have an operating knowledge of SAP PM and MRP processes used by the NZ Army.
 
Our ideal candidate will be familiar with the physical aspects of warehouse management, NZ Army system of supply, have an operating knowledge of SAP IM processes and have an understanding of the theory and practice of inventory management.  Ideally, you will have knowledge of the NZDF Training and Education Policy and the Systems Approach to Learning (SAL) cycle, along with knowledge of defence courses and content.

Your excellent interpersonal skills, ability to relate to others, ability to work independently and demonstrable ability to make decisions using sound judgement with limited supervision or direction are crucial to this role.
 
You will have strong skills in planning and be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and retain quality.  Excellent communication and facilitation skills, along with problem solving abilities are required for this role.

This role requires you hold a current class 1 NZ Drivers Licence and be able to pass an advanced driver assessment that allows you to obtain a Military Service Vehicle (MSV) Defence Driving Permit (DDP).
 
You will need to have the ability and willingness to travel within NZ to different military camps and bases to conduct training or instruct when required and will include overnight stays at NZDF camps and bases and also overnight stays in the NZDF training area where you will be accommodated in a tent or cabin, during support to training or an exercise.  This will include spending time away from your normal working location and home beyond 92 hours at a time.

The remuneration band for this position is $63,901 to $78,937 inclusive of a 4% employer superannuation contribution.
