We're a Crown entity responsible for the safety and security of New Zealand's civil aviation system. There are two parts to our business - the regulatory arm (Civil Aviation Authority), and the security arm (Aviation Security Service). About the role

The Business Analyst plays an important role in providing expertise in the exploration of business solutions, analysis of business needs and contributing to the implementation of business solutions and process improvements. You will need to have a pragmatic approach to defining problems and documenting requirements and desired outcomes effectively. To ensure success in this role, you will actively collaborate with key stakeholders and provide integrated and value-add solutions that complement the organisation's needs.

What we're looking for

We want to hear from experienced business analysts who are up for a new challenge. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills are essential in this role, as is a proven ability to put methodologies into practice. In addition to unquestionable technical competence, this role requires the ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders through excellent communication and facilitation skills.
