Job Description

Specifically, the role is responsible for

ISG maintains hundreds of applications as well as the devices and systems to support them. You will be developing and implementing automation technology and associated processes to deploy new applications. You will also be modernizing existing application infrastructure and applications so that they become are part of the same Dev Ops deployment and management approach.

You will be building repositories of code and processes that take that code into a staged environment. You will also be developing test automation to prove the staged environments. You will be available 'out of hours' to cover cutovers of staged systems into production.

To be successful in this role you will have the following:

  • Ideally five years in a System Administrator or System Engineer role
  • Hands-on cloud experience - deployment of minimum viable cloud solutions (MVC) and application migrations
  • A tertiary level qualification - post-graduate University degree in Software Development, Computing Systems, Information Services, Science, Engineering or related field
  • Public Cloud Certification(s) and experience in a popular cloud platform (Azure/AWS/Google) are highly desirable
  • Experience in Jenkins, Teamcity, Azure Devops or other CI/CD Pipline
  • Live and breathe Agile, Dev Ops and Automation
  • Experience of traditional IT Infrastructure Operations an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build good relationships at all levels
  • Experience working in a large organisation and/or in a pressured and ever-changing environment
  • Knowledge of Health environment would be preferable

You are willing to be T Shaped:

  • CI/CD
  • Dev Ops
  • Enterprise Device Management, Netwrking, Source Control, ITIL, Share Point, VDI, Windows
