Mō te tūranga - About the role
As an ACC Administrator, you will join a team that is responsible for identifying our ACC activity and billing ACC for the eligible work undertaken under the ACC Elective Surgery and Clinical Services contracts for the Health New Zealand Southern. This role covers the Southern district and can be located in Invercargill or in Dunedin.
The primary function of this role within the team is to ensure that the ACC patients are correctly coded and that forms are completed for eligible treatments, both past and present. You will be responsible for billing and performing reconciliations for ACC surgical services delivered and treatment injury claims in a timely manner, to ensure that revenue opportunities are maximised. We require team members with an exceptional attention to detail, a high level of accuracy and drive.
Full training will be provided to give you all the necessary tools and knowledge to succeed in this busy and rewarding role.

Ideally, you will have a background in administration processes, ACC and/or healthcare to provide a key function within our Finance Team
You will be friendly and pro-active, work well within a team and have the confidence and ability to work well autonomously. Due to the personal nature of the information you are handling, you will need to be able to work in a respectful and confidential manner.
This is a busy role and so efficiency, time management and a high standard of administration skills are required. A knowledge and understanding of ACC processes and/or the health industry would be hugely beneficial to allow you to hit the ground running.

Utu whānui - Salary range
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the PSA South Island Clerical Multi-Employer Collective Agreement and the salary will be in accordance with the National Health Administration Workers Pay Scale, Band 4 between $64,903 to $67,787 pro rata dependant on relevant experience.
