Job Description

Come and be a part of the one of the largest and most complex programmes seen in the Health Sector. This programme will build one of New Zealand's most sophisticated Oracle infrastructure environments, complete and deploy Oracle's EBS system and migrate District Health Boards to this new system. This is a contract position.

 

In this role:

You will play an important role in the success of the delivery. Liaising with each DHB involved, you will be creating the testing foundation and ensuring that test activities are being carried out correctly and on time.

 

You will:

  • Create the test strategy and plans
  • Manage and own the implementation of the test strategy and plans
  • Manage the creation and on-going development of an automated testing framework
  • Manage the implementation and adherence of testing methods and standards

 

This role requires someone to be able to build and maintain relationships within both the programme team and the DHBs, ensuring that testing milestones are met, on time and adhere to the agreed standards.

 

To be successful:

We are looking for an experienced Test Manager, who is able to bring with them expertise and a broad range of previous experience.

You will have:

  • At least 5 years' experience in a testing role
  • 2-3 years' experience in a Test Manager role
  • Knowledge and understanding of SDLC practices and project methodologies
  • Experience generating test plans
  • Knowledge of and experience with a variety of test tools
