Ngā kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

Work within a team responsible for student admission to the University, entry into qualifications, and programme planning. We provide a consistent decision-making approach based on knowledge and understanding of the education sector and compliance with internal and external requirements. We ensure all new students receive timely and accurate responses and pride ourselves on excellent customer service.

Salary will be in the range of $73,235 to $87,024 per year, based on the skills, knowledge, and experience you bring to the position. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week), based on our Hillcrest Campus. For more information on this role, please see the position description.

As a people person, you will enjoy interacting and communicating with a diverse group of individuals as they embark on their application-to-enrolment journey. You will thrive in an environment where you progress applicants through their applications while continuously looking for ways to improve the student experience. Your critical thinking will be essential, as you will be expected to implement business and system changes that positively impact processing targets and assist students in reaching enrolment.

You will understand the need to maintain high performance within tight timeframes and place the customer at the centre of what you do. Your positive and friendly personality will put students at ease as they make decisions about their programmes and papers in accordance with their chosen qualification and University regulations.

The Division provides a comprehensive range of student services that support the recruitment, admission, enrolment, and success of University of Waikato students.
