Nga korero mo te turanga - About the role

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Administrator to support Te Ngira, the Institute for Population Research. This part-time role is central to ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the Institute, providing comprehensive administrative support to the Director and academic staff.

You will be the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, coordinate meetings and events, manage financial processes, and support research and teaching activities. The role offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to contribute to research that informs social, economic, and demographic outcomes across Aotearoa.

Salary will be in the range of $73,235 - $87,024 per year pro-rata, based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position. This is a part-time role (18.75 hours a week, 0.5 FTE), based on our Hillcrest Campus.
