Job Description

In the role of the Programme Manager you will be required to lead staff through the implementation plans to deliver the organisation's objectives on the new Grey Base Facilities programme for West Coast District Health Board.

Duties will include but not restricted to:

  • To provide management of the ICT elements in all Facilities Programmes 
  • Programme Requirements Analysis 
  • Advance and promote sound Programme/Project Management principles at all times.
  • Account Management
  • Relationship Management

To be successful in this role we need someone with the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Have a professional Programme/Project Management certification such as MSP, PMP, PRINCE2, PMI
  • Experienced with risk management techniques
  • Experienced with quality management techniques
  • Experienced with technology development cycle
  • Experienced with organisational change management
  • Able to work effectively with all levels of the DHB and vendor organisations up to CEO level
  • Has a strong understanding of the Ministry of Health's Polices for, 'Better Business Cases'

This is a .6 FTE fixed-term contract for 12 months for the management of the new facilities ICT component.
