This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week.
The remuneration range for this role is $118,918 to $167,885 (including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience.
The opportunity
The purpose of this role is to lead a team of Land Development Engineers in processing Resource Management Act and Building Act consenting matters related to Three Waters infrastructure. The Manager Land Development Consenting will lead the team as well as undertake technical reviews of complex developments, while working with our stakeholders, managing escalations, business and financial planning, and implementing continual improvements.
About you
To be successful in this role you will bring the following:
- Significant experience working at a senior level preferably in Three waters or land development - alternatively this may be in infrastructure, planning or asset management
- A qualification in engineering, planning, asset management or similar degree
- Thorough knowledge of consenting under the Resource Management Act planning procedures and Civil Engineering Practice
- An understanding of the district planning policy and procedures
- Highly developed relationship, negotiation and influencing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to put ideas across in a logical and coherent fashion to complement your strong customer focus and sound judgement
