This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week.
The remuneration range for this role is $98,925 to $139,658, with a midpoint of $116,382 (including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience.
The opportunity
As the Senior Management Accountant, you will be responsible for delivering monthly management reporting internally and supporting the delivery of monthly external reports to councils. You will provide fact-based analysis and insights, and accurate budgeting and forecasting information. With your excellent communication skills, you will be able to tell the story beyond the numbers.
You will get to:
- Provide high quality management reporting across the organisation
- Prepare and collate and forecast information gathered from across the organisation
- Provide variance analysis to help inform decision making
- Prepare annual budgets and provide regular reporting
- Work in a collaborative environment and help support the finance team and wider organisation.
About you:
- Chartered Accountant (or equivalent)
- Five years post qualification accounting experience
- Strong collaborative skills with the ability to relate to a diverse workforce
- Experience in complex budgeting and forecasting processes in a large organisation, with experience in Technology One preferred
- High attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
