This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week
The remuneration range for this role is $93,445 to $131,922 (including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience
The opportunity
As Commercial Evaluator, you will provide dedicated support the successful delivery of a range of Capital projects within the Capital Delivery function by providing strong commercial, procurement and evaluation expertise. You will collaborate closely with Project Managers, estimators and the wider delivery teams to ensure a best practice approach to procurement outcomes.
Key responsibilities will include the following:
- Developing procurement plans, sourcing strategies and evaluation approaches
- Participating in evaluation panels to provide commercial and pricing expertise
- Assessing commercial risks and reviewing supplier pricing terms
- Preparing clear commercial assessment and recommendations to support evaluation outcomes
- Supporting audits, reviews and assurance processes
About you
To be successful in this role you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and ideally have a background in engineering or design.
You will bring the following:
- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience preferably in the infrastructure industry
- Experience developing or managing procurement and tender evaluation processes
- Sound commercial and financial analysis capability
- Experience undertaking commercial analysis, pricing review or risk assessment
- An ability to prepare clear, well-structured documentation and recommendations
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
