Regional Maintenance Planner at Wellington Water, Wellington - Wairarapa

This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week.

The remuneration range for this role is $80,369 to $113,462 p.a. (including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience.

The opportunity

As the Regional Maintenance Planner, you will deliver work with the Maximo system to support the development and delivery of the three waters planned maintenance programmes across the region, ensuring that asset data is collected, stored and utilised to optimise future planned programmes.

Working across Network Operations, your focus will be providing close support to the councils via dedicated customer planning engineers.

You will be involved in:

  • Managing and overseeing key relationships with internal and external partners across Wellington Water, including with system support specialists internally and within our alliance partner
  • Developing effective planned maintenance programmes within the Maximo work order management system
  • Providing support to the Service Delivery team on planned maintenance programmes
  • Monitoring the status of maintenance plans and assisting teams with follow-up activities
  • Assisting in the training and development of staff competency in the use of the computerised asset management system

About you

Your success will come from your ability to build a wide range of relationships, maintain a manageable workload for the team and foster a culture that puts doing the right thing at the forefront.

To be successful in this role you'll also bring:

  • A minimum of five years' experience in enterprise-level asset maintenance planning tools and asset management, ideally including some experience with Maximo
  • Strong computer literacy, specifically with maintenance and asset management systems
  • Full NZ Class 1 licence
  • Budget and financial management experience
  • Diploma in Engineering/Degree qualification (Civil, Mech, Elect) or other suitable trade qualification
