About Us

The new Ministry of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is the Government's lead advisor on housing and urban development and will deliver the Government's programme to address homelessness, increase public and private housing supply, make existing homes warmer and healthier, make housing affordable for people to rent and buy, and lead quality urban development strategies to create thriving communities.

About the role

Supporting an evolving work programme, the change advisor will be responsible for providing change advice and leading change management inputs and improvement initiatives across HUD's portfolio of organisational development and infrastructure improvement initiatives. This will include creating and executing change management plans, developing and applying change management strategy, undertaking risk assessments, identifying potential block points and embedded new change processes and practices.

About you

You will be an experienced change advisor who is well versed in best practice change management methodologies, tools and principles. You will have demonstrated ability implementing change management components in an environment where multiple deliverables and interdependencies must be considered.

Your background will include:

  • Resilient with the ability to create your own momentum to drive outcomes for success
  • Demonstrated success in supporting the implementation of change and change adoption
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, engage and build relationships
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience managing multiple work streams within tight time constraints.
