Job Description

About us

KiwiBuild is about restoring the dream of home ownership to families throughout NZ, by providing eligible first home buyers with exclusive access to a range of fixed price modest starter homes. KiwiBuild does this by supporting developers to build more quality, affordable houses, and connecting them with eligible KiwiBuild buyers through a ballot process.

Our aim is to increase home ownership in New Zealand; increase the supply of affordable homes in parts of NZ where there is a shortage; and use government procurement to foster innovation and reduce the cost of building new homes. Do you want to be part of this journey?

KiwiBuild home owners have conditions that they must comply with for three years. You will lead the set-up of the compliance and enforcement systems and the ongoing management of these systems and processes. You will utilise your leadership and coaching skills to manage and develop the team and drive continuous improvement as processes evolve.

About you

  • Proven successful team leadership experience including ability to build and grow a team and create an inclusive and engaged culture
  • Sound regulatory experience including compliance and enforcement or operations (or similar) including the development, management, and continuous improvement of processes, criteria, and systems
  • Ability to identify and appropriately manage risk
  • Proven experience in a customer service environment including setting and measuring customer service standards, and managing and resolving complaints
  • Ability to quickly establish and build strong working relationships.
