The New Zealand Qualifications Authority is seeking a Qualifications Development Facilitator to join the Wellington-based National Qualifications Services (NQS) within their Qualifications Services business unit.

The NQS team is responsible for the development, maintenance, review and support of New Zealand qualifications and unit standards which are generic in nature, Pasifika focused, and/or reflect areas of Government priority. It is also involved in the maintenance of University Entrance and the provision of policy and specialist advice on standards and qualifications.

The Qualifications Development Facilitator role requires someone with experience in the education and training sector, especially in facilitating change and delivering to customer expectations in a complex work environment, a sound knowledge of assessment, qualifications and the New Zealand Qualifications Framework.

The role requires the ability to quickly establish, build and maintain strong effective and collaborative working relationships, and establish credibility with specialist external advisors and a variety of stakeholders including government agencies, industry, training providers and customers.
