Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and organised Personal Assistant to join our Information Services (IS) team.  The IS team is responsible for the delivery of robust, responsive and value for money ICT services and solutions to support the strategic business needs of NZQA.

As an experienced PA, you will ensure that the Chief Information Officer and the IS Leadership Team have excellent administrative support, enabling them to focus on business development and high-level management issues.  

You will be an excellent organiser and communicator with a proactive and friendly attitude. You will have the multi-tasking ability and flexibility to work in this dynamic and ever-evolving environment, and will work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • managing  and prioritising enquiries and requests (face-to-face, email and telephone)
  • organising diaries and making appointments
  • dealing with correspondence, writing letters and taking meeting minutes
  • ensuring managers are well-prepared for meetings
  • producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations
