Qualifications Development Facilitator - Fixed term - 12 months
We are looking for a Qualifications Development Facilitator to join the Wellington-based National Qualifications Services team within Ngā Poutoko Aromatawai Māori at NZQA.
Whakatairangatia ngā kete o te mātauranga ki te ao mārama! E te tai whakarunga, e te tai whakararo – nau piki mai, nau kake mai ki te Mana Tohu Mātauranga o Aotearoa.

About the role
Qualifications Development Facilitators project manage the development, maintenance and review of nationally endorsed unit standards and New Zealand qualifications. They are also involved in the development of assessment materials and other implementation support activities.
The role requires the ability to quickly establish, build and maintain strong effective and collaborative working relationships, and establish credibility with specialist external advisors and a variety of stakeholders including government agencies, industry, training providers and customers.

Skills and experience
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- proven experience to plan, co-ordinate and deliver successful project outcomes
- a sound background of working with a Qualifications Framework
- highly developed oral, interpersonal and written communication skills
- experience in facilitating workshops, meetings and presentations
- experience in working with, and understanding of, the training and educational needs of Pasifika peoples
- an understanding of training needs within the tertiary or secondary sectors
- a demonstrable ability to work with specialist external advisors and stakeholders
