The Investment & Finance group provides critical checks and balances to the Transport Agency's decisions and services – to ensure plans and investments represent best value for money.

The purpose of this Executive Assistant role is to provide professional and accurate executive level support to the General Manager by ensuring the smooth running of their office in a timely and confidential manner.

This is a role with plenty of opportunity to go beyond the typical EA duties and demonstrate your curiosity and adaptability in a busy and challenging environment. Your tech savvy will be well utilised and you'll work closely with the GM to manage their calendar.

To be successful in this role you will bring

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience providing high level support at GM or Director level
  • Exceptional organisational, time and diary management skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • The ability to liaise and communicate with a range of external and key stakeholders, many at an executive level
  • Experience with official correspondence and able to maintain deadlines and work to a high level of accuracy in relation to these
  • The ability to make good judgements and quick decisions and to use your initiative to think proactively to solve problems
  • Social intelligence and the ability to connect at all organisational levels and across different professional fields
