The Ministerial Services team aims to ensure the NZ Transport Agency meets the quality, timeliness and information needs of the Minister and the requester. The Ministerial Services team are looking for 2 experienced coordinators who have attention to detail, are proactive and like to be busy!

As a Correspondence Coordinator, you will be responsible for processing incoming/outgoing correspondence as per Transport Agency standards, across the business groups. You will record and manage the flow of official correspondence between the Transport Agency and the office of the Minister of Transport and ensure that good working relationships across the Transport Agency and the Minister's office are maintained. As part of this, you will ensure both clarity and consistency, as well as deal with any issues without delay.

To be successful here and in this role you will bring:

  • Experience in the public sector and knowledge of Government process and standards in relation to official correspondence
  • Excellent communication skills – including plain English writing skills
  • High proficiency user of the MS Office suite
  • Experience with document management systems
