This is a busy position which will keep you on your toes.  You will be responsible for the maintenance and operations of highway structures through Auckland and Northland, ensuring the provision of levels of service that meet both the technical requirements and the customer need.  Working alongside our Alliance partners, the Network Managers and Journey Manager, you will play a vital part in contract management to assist in achieving the best outcomes for all parties, through collaboration and open communication.  This is where your strong relationship management and negotiation skills will come to the fore.

This role will require a high degree of communication and team work as you will be required to work closely with Alliance partners within the Auckland and Northland Systems Management teams.

To be successful here and in this role you will offer:

  • Minimum of 10 years experience, preferably in the operations, maintenance and renewal of highway structures
  • Experience of relationship management and expert dispute resolution capability
  • Proven ability to influence and negotiate, ensuring value for money is obtained from annual work programmes
  • Project management and asset management experience
  • An Engineering Degree

 A Chartered Professional Engineer qualification (CPEng or equivalent) is desirable.

This role is based in our Auckland office. This role will require some degree of travel, as your work will at times be out of the immediate region.
