At System Design & Delivery we design and deliver an integrated transport system that reflects the plans and priorities of the Transport Agency and its partners.

The role

Bring your exceptional ability to understand data and create a tangible picture for people to take action on.  In this role you will be influencing our suppliers, and assisting them with developing good business process through developing and measuring the key result area's to enable us all to work together effectively.  In this National role you will be analyzing maintenance contracts across the country, and measuring the performance to ensure value for money and great outcomes are achieved.

Your business intelligence will be key to helping you make sense of the information available to drive improvements and your relationship skills will assist with bringing our suppliers on the process improvement journey.   We are changing how we do business today, and more effectively using the information available to make great journey solutions for our road users and to keep NZ moving.

This is an opportunity for you to drive great messaging for people, and what you do will drive safety in every journey across New Zealand so people can get home safely.

What you will bring

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

      • A strong commercial understanding in road maintenance.
      • Proven effective engagement skills across a broad spectrum
      • Strong collaboration and influencing skills
      • The ability to work with data and develop business insights in a meaningful way
      • Asset information knowledge and experience
      • A drive for continuous improvement
      • Experience leading and motivating a small team
      • 10 years+ experience in Asset investment management
