The Customer Experience and Behaviour team is about using data and information, research and analytics and customer-centric design and support to ensure the customer drives everything we do. They collect data and information to design great customer experiences, use research and analytics to help understand our customers and their needs and they connect with the wider Transport Agency to improve the journeys of our customers through education and behaviour change.

 

The role

 It's an exciting and challenging time to join our Insights team as we build on our existing processes and continue to develop positive relationships with stakeholders.

 This is a critical position within the team. Working closely with the Manager, Insight and Performance, you will play a lead role in embedding and overseeing the programmes of work that influence our strategic direction to achieve tangible customer outcomes.

 In addition, you will provide high level advice, thought leadership and influence to promote the importance and use of evidence-based insights. You will apply critical thinking to Agency activities and plans, in order to identify opportunities and provide insight to improve customer outcomes and performance measurement.

 

What you will bring

 To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Extensive experience in technical market research with a quantitative focus
  • A good understanding of human behaviour and decision-making, and its implications for collecting and interpreting customer data
  • Proven experience understanding organisation strategy and priorities, and applying this to work programme development 
  • Experience leading complex projects involving multiple objectives and sources of information, and diverse stakeholders 
  • Experience guiding and mentoring others in a fast-paced, project-based environment 
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, consulting, and advocacy skills 
  • Flexibility, adaptability and resilience to cope during times of change and ambiguity 
  • Experience in a market research agency side would be beneficial
