Business Analyst

 

Ara Poutama Aotearoa has introduced new ways of working within its People Operations teams and are fostering a culture where continuous improvement is an everyday way of life.

We are seeking two energetic Business Analysts to add value to our newly created Continuous Improvement team.  These roles will play a pivotal part in supporting operational teams to create a positive process culture at Ara Poutama Aotearoa.

 

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience

You'll be able to:

  • Apply analysis skills and techniques to projects which improve quality, reduce costs, increase productivity, and improve cycle time by reducing wasted time, rework etc. which result in significant business improvement and customer satisfaction
  • Evaluate process improvement information, including policy and procedures to identify inefficiencies and coordinate to determine a future state that satisfies the business requirements.
  • Use appropriate measurement, analysis, and evaluation methods to accurately identify and document requirements, business processes and process improvements
  • Know how to extract, manipulate, and interpret data and present that in ways that enable informed decision-making
  • Understand and analyse options, to help internal customers choose the best solutions
  • Strong process analysis with the ability to create process maps and work with technical developers.

 

A proven track record in business analysis and continuous improvement, you'll be a critical thinker, known for developing creative solutions and delivery.  We are looking for people who are:

 

  • Passionate about new ways of working, and getting the most out of people
  • Able to work with multi-faceted teams and hybrid/remote environments
  • Has confidence and nuance to ask probing questions and challenge assumptions
  • A strong problem solver who is skilled at getting things 'unstuck'
  • An excellent communicator

 

If you are an analytically minded practitioner with a flair for process and system transformation this may be the opportunity for you.

The salary range for this role is $66,411 - $93,756. Appointments are based on demonstrable skills and experience relevant to the role.
