• General Ward, Dargaville Hospital
• Permanent, full time position (1.0FTE), working 40 hours per week
• Monday – Sunday rostered shifts

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will be working within the General Ward at Dargaville Hospital, providing quality nursing care and support to patients, utilizing your professional knowledge and skill, to provide a holistic approach of nursing care that is safe and of the highest quality possible.   The care you give will enhance the outcomes for patients through education, liaison with other members of the multi-disciplinary team, co-coordinating the treatment and discharge planning processes for patients.  

About the Team/Service/Location

Dargaville Hospital provides hospital level and community care to the people of Kaipara. The General ward is a 12-bed ward that in addition also provides acute emergency care and planned procedures.

About you

As a Registered Nurse, you will have excellent communication and leadership skills, who can thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in the face of changing priorities.

• Registered Nurse with a current Practicing Certificate
• Recent (within 12 months) clinical experience
