We are seeking applications from suitably qualified occupational therapist to work in our Te Roopu Whitiora team. We are looking for someone who is committed to evidence based practice. Ideally you will have clinical experience and knowledge in the field of mental health and addictions.
The position is within a supportive multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural setting and offers an interesting career within the beautiful Northland environment. You will be providing a range of occupational therapist services including assessments, intervention plans and therapy.
The successful candidate will:
- Have full membership of your professional association and have a current practicing certificate.
- Have clinical experience and knowledge in the field of mental health and addictions.
- Have experience in occupational therapy assessment using a range of assessment tools
- Have experience delivering a range of evidence-informed occupational therapist interventions.
- Be committed to cultural and ethical competence.
- Work well within a team.
