Achieving the best health outcomes for our patients starts with expecting the best from ourselves, and right now Northland DHB is looking for an exceptional Technical Specialist to join the Autolab at Whangarei Hospital.
Working closely with the Head of Department, you will enhance the Technical and Scientific aspects of the work performed in the functional stream of expertise by supervising and coordinating the work output of the Haematology Department.
You will be responsible for ensuring work is appropriately prioritised and is performed conforming to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and IANZ requirements.
With a new purpose built laboratory on the horizon start your exciting journey with Northland DHB – Due to a laboratory restructuring process, we are looking for an exceptional Medical Laboratory Scientist with developed Leadership and Morphology skills, and a passion for Haematology to join the Autolab team.
You will be an experienced MLS, qualified in Haematology, eligible to work in New Zealand and holding current registration with the Medical Sciences Board of New Zealand (www.mscouncil.org.nz). A minimum of 5 years post registration experience with developed Haematology experience as essential.
