We have an amazing opportunity for an enthusiastic Registered Health Clinician (DAPAANZ, Psychologist, Social Worker, Nurse with counselling or mental health and addictions skills, or similar) with a keen interest and expertise in alcohol and other drug screening, brief intervention and referral to treatment.

Preferred applicants will also have expertise in mental health/family violence screening and brief intervention and knowledge of brief talking therapies such as motivational interviewing.

We are looking for someone with lots of energy and huge enthusiasm to be part of the Mental Health and Addictions services but based within the Emergency Department. Initiative, professionalism and self-motivation are essential qualities to be part of the team. The work is demanding and rewarding.

A minimum of five years post registration experience is desirable in a related profession or role.

This role works between the hours or 1:00pm and 9:30pm Monday – Tuesday each week.
