Right now we have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Social Worker to join our supportive Community Mental Health team based in Whangarei in a part time role working 32 hours per weeks.
This role provides specialist social assessment and complex case management for referred older people and their whanau.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be registered with the NZ Social Workers Registration Board and hold a current practicing certificate
- Hold a full drivers licence
- Ideally have experience working within the Community Mental Health and Addiction setting
- Have well developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to work as part of a positive and productive multidisciplinary team
- Have computer skills
Additionally you will be committed to providing a quality consumer focused service that is based on best practice principles, the principles of recovery and aligned to the National Mental Health and Addiction Service Standards.
