About the role:
Right now we have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Social Worker to join our supportive Community Mental Health team based in Whangarei in a part time role (32 hours per week, Monday to Friday).
This role provides specialist social assessment and complex case management for referred older people and their whanau. We are a small, close knit team, providing big results so if you want to work in a fun, friendly and supportive team environment, apply now.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be registered with the NZ Social Workers Registration Board and hold a current practicing certificate
- Hold a full drivers licence
- Ideally have experience working within the Community Mental Health and Addiction setting
- Have well developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to work as part of a positive and productive multidisciplinary team
Additionally you will be committed to providing a quality consumer focused service that is based on best practice principles, the principles of recovery and aligned to the National Mental Health and Addiction Service Standards.
