Ngā Tai Ora – Public Health Northland is tasked with delivering a range of strategic and operational services that promote and protect the health of our people and environment, and prevent disease across our region.
Our Tai Hapori – Community Development Team work
s across the region developing projects with communities to address locally identified priorities including long-term and ongoing health issues.
Northland DHB is committed to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and holds stewardship for equitable health outcomes for Māori as Tāngata Whenua as the highest priority.
We're looking for good team players with sound experience in public health and community development coupled with enthusiasm, great work ethic, and a commitment to our region.
To thrive in this role, you will:
- Hold a tertiary level qualification in Public Health or relevant discipline such as social science, education or Māori development; and/or
- Have a minimum of 5 years' experience in community development
