About the role
If you're looking for the right opportunity to create positive, healthy change, then we're looking for you. Right now, we have an opportunity for a Podiatrist to join our High Risk Foot Clinic at the Whangarei Hospital in a permanent 1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week position.
The primary function of this position is to provide community podiatry services including diagnosis, treatment, prevention, education and management to the Northland region population who are more vulnerable to having active or high-risk foot complications due to diabetic or other high-risk foot pathologies.
- NZ registered Podiatrist
- Current practicing certificate with no restrictions
- Experience and competence in managing high risk foot pathologies, including diabetic and vascular foot complications, wound assessment, treatment, and preventative management
- Excellent communication skills
- Full drivers license
