Clinical Psychologist - Pain Service (1.0FTE) at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Te Tai Tokerau, Northland

The role:

Right now, we are looking for an exceptional Psychologist who has experience in working in a medical or health setting. This is for a full time, permanent position working 40 hours per week.

Based at Whangārei Hospital, this role will provide effective and efficient psychological services as part of a multi-disciplinary team within the Inpatient and Community Pain Services of Northland.

 

Key requirements:

  • Registered with the NZ Psychologist Board (NZPB)
  • Comprehensive psychological assessment and treatment skills
  • Experience using standardized assessment tools and outcome measures
  • The ability to work with a wide variety of clients including those from various cultural/ethnic backgrounds
  • Good time management and the ability to prioritise workload
  • Full Drivers Licence

To be successful in this role, you will need to have working knowledge and commitment to Tikanga, a commitment to work in a culturally and ethically safe manner, and strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills.
