The role:
Right now, we are looking for an exceptional Psychologist who has experience in working in a medical or health setting. This is for a full time, permanent position working 40 hours per week.
Based at Whangārei Hospital, this role will provide effective and efficient psychological services as part of a multi-disciplinary team within the Inpatient and Community Pain Services of Northland.
Key requirements:
- Registered with the NZ Psychologist Board (NZPB)
- Comprehensive psychological assessment and treatment skills
- Experience using standardized assessment tools and outcome measures
- The ability to work with a wide variety of clients including those from various cultural/ethnic backgrounds
- Good time management and the ability to prioritise workload
- Full Drivers Licence
To be successful in this role, you will need to have working knowledge and commitment to Tikanga, a commitment to work in a culturally and ethically safe manner, and strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills.
