Right now, we have exciting opportunity for a Health Care Assistant to join our team in the Cancer and Blood Service, on a permanent, full time basis working 40 hours per week Monday – Friday 07:30am – 4pm. This will be based in the Jim Carney Treatment Centre, Whangarei Hospital Campus.
About the role:
We are looking for someone who has an interest in working in a hospital setting. No prior experience needed as training and ongoing support will be provided to succeed in this role.
In this role, you will work under the direction and delegation of a registered nurse (RN). You will also perform delegated patient care duties to enhance the satisfaction of the patient and housekeeping duties to provide a clean, tidy and organized environment. General administrative tasks will also be included in the day to day tasks.
