Community Dietitian - Mid/Far North (0.6 FTE) at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Te Tai Tokerau, Northland

About the role:

Right now, we are looking for an exceptional New Zealand Registered Dietitian to join our Nutrition and Dietetic team. This is a permanent, full time position based in the mid or far North working 24 hours per week.

 

In this role you will deliver dietetic care to community based patients in Te Whatu Ora – Health NZ Te Tai Tokerau. We provide patient/ whanau centred care which is safe, effective and outcome focused. This role works within a multi-disciplinary framework, where the majority of your working time is patient related. There will also be opportunities for service development work and professional development.

 

Key requirements:

  • Current registration with the Dietitians Board of New Zealand with Prescriber's Endorsement
  • Excellent communication skills
  • NZ Driver's license
  • Ability to work within a multi disciplinary team
  • Proven time management and delegation skills

 

Community dietetic experience is desirable but not essential.
