Medical Imaging Technologists - Whangarei and Kaitaia at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Te Tai Tokerau, Northland

About the role:

We have a variety of permanent, full time and part time options available as the service looks to expand, with the flexibility to suit your lifestyle and personal commitments.

 

The Te Tai Tokerau radiology department provides a full range of diagnostic imaging services across the Northland region. These roles are primarily based at Whangarei hospital, but with opportunities at Kaitaia, Bay of Islands and Dargaville.

 

The department is digital with modern DR, CT, MRI and mammography equipment.

 

You will need to be prepared to work rostered duties and participate in the out of hours roster, which includes weekend and public holiday dayshifts, evening and night shifts. 

 

Salary range $53,086 - $80,745 (37.5hr working week)

 

Required skills/experience:

  • Registered NZ Medical Imaging Technologist with a current annual practicing certificate
  • Current driver's license
  • Enrolment in CPD programme
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills,

 

These roles would be suitable for new graduates or those who are due to receive their registration and experienced MIT's looking for a new challenge.

Experience in CT or MRI desirable, but not essential with training opportunities available.
