About the role:
Right now, we have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Social Worker to join our supportive Health of Older Persons Service (HOPS) based in Whangarei Hospital. This is a part time role, working 20 hours per week between Mondays and Fridays.
This role provides specialist social assessments and planned social work intervention. We are a small, close knit team, providing big results so if you want to work in a fun, friendly and supportive team environment, apply now.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Current registration with NZ Social Workers Registration Board
- Current full Drivers Licence
- Experience working with individuals and families with diverse needs
- Relevant social work experience that can be translated into an acute health setting
- Have well developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to work as part of a positive and productive multidisciplinary team
