Right now, we have exciting opportunities for House Officers to join the team at Whangarei Hospital.
This is a regional base hospital providing a wide range of services including ED, medical specialties, surgical specialties, ICU, ENT, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Paediatrics, and Psychiatry.
Overseas and want to come to New Zealand? We will pay for a one-way economy flight and cover you for $1000 relocation expenses.
Whangarei Hospital is the largest hospital in Northland, providing secondary care services for the region, supported by three regional hospitals. Northland covers an area of 12,600 square kilometres and has a population of approximately 194,000. As a region Northland is renowned for its beautiful beaches and relaxed lifestyle.

Our house officer rotations are in various departments across Assessment and Rehabilitation/Stroke, Medical Admitting, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, ENT, Emergency Medicine, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, and Relief. To be eligible for one of these roles, you must be at a PGY2 House Officer level or above.
