We have part time and full time positions available working across a rotating roster.
The Orthopaedic Ward is a 32 increasing to 34 bed ward, caring for elective and acute / trauma patients. There is a nurse lead pre elective clinic (joint camp) preparing patient for upcoming hip and knee surgery. We see a variety of presentations via our emergency department, orthopaedic clinic and our 3 rural hospitals which are supported by Whangarei hospital.
- Recent hospital experience in NZ
- Well-developed communication skills: with patients, their whanau and the inter-disciplinary teams
- Committed to high standards of patient focussed clinical care and a desire to grow and develop
