Achieving the best health outcomes for our patients starts with expecting the best from ourselves, and right now Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau is looking for Registered Nurses to join the Post Anaesthetic Care Unit/Surgical Admission Unit.
Whilst PACU experience would be an advantage it is not essential however you will need to have a minimum of 2-3 years of recent surgical experience. The successful applicant will be required to work rostered shifts with an on call component.
You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a skilled team. You will need to have great work organisation skills, the ability to work under pressure, some understanding of Pain Management and an on-going commitment to service improvement.
